Job summary

Precision People is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator in Wellingborough. You will set and operate 3/4 axis milling machines and turning machines, perform full setup from drawings including offsets, and conduct manual inspection of components.

Experience with Hurco controls and tight aerospace/motorsport tolerances is essential. You will work as part of a team and may undertake some assembly tasks as required.

Qualifications

Experience setting & operating CNC 3/4 axis mills and turning machines.
Experience with precision engineering to aerospace and motorsport tolerances.
Experience checking components to engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Set and operate 3/4 axis CNC milling machines.
Set and operate CNC turning machines.
Full setup from drawings including offsets.
Perform manual inspection of components.
Carry out additional duties as required and some assembly work.
