Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality precision components using CNC multi-tasking lathes.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings, set up and run machines, inspect components with measuring equipment, and maintain production quality. Relocation package is offered for the right candidate, along with a competitive salary and benefits.

CNC Setter / Operator

Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality precision components using CNC multi-tasking lathes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC lathes for small to medium batch production.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Inspect components using measuring equipment.
• Edit Fanuc-based programs.
• Carry out machine maintenance checks.
• Complete quality and traceability documentation.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.

About You:

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Knowledge of 4-axis CNC machines and Fanuc controls.
• Able to read engineering drawings and use inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with a positive and flexible approach.

Desirable:

• Twin spindle machine experience.
• Knowledge of AS9100 standards.
• Aerospace or precision engineering experience.

Shift Pattern:

Week 1

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm

Week 2

• Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm
• Friday, 2:00pm to 7:30pm
