The Best Connection Group Limited in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced CNC Operator to join a modern machining environment in Whitstable. You will operate CNC multi-tasking lathes to produce high-quality precision components, reading drawings and meeting production targets.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £16.50–£19.00, permanent full-time employment, overtime opportunities, training and development, on-site parking and a company pension.

Qualificações

• Experience operating CNC machines and reading engineering drawings.
• Proficient in using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CNC multi-tasking lathes.
• Read engineering drawings to manufacture components.
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
• Use measuring equipment to verify quality.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Deburr, clean and inspect finished components.
• Report machine or quality issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance checks and keep the area safe.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced

CNC Operator to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern machining environment with long-term career prospects, stable hours, and ongoing training.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-quality precision components while maintaining quality standards and production targets.

Salary - £16.50 - £19.00 per hour

Hours - MON TO FRI Alternating shifts weekly

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating CNC multi-tasking lathes.
• Producing components from engineering drawings.
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections.
• Using measuring equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Completing production and quality documentation.
• Deburring, cleaning and inspecting finished components.
• Reporting any machine or quality issues.
• Performing routine machine maintenance checks.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous CNC machining or CNC operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
