My client is a leading precision engineering firm based in the heart of the Fens. Privately owned, they have over 50 years of experience in providing high-quality engineered parts into a variety of sectors including medical devices, automotive and aerospace.
We are looking for CNC Setter/Operators to operate a variety of turning and/or milling machines to perform assigned tasks for both the day shift.
Working on Fanuc controlled machinery, you produce components for the aerospace sector, working to agreed standards and quality processes.
In addition to this, you would be responsible for ensuring that the CNC machines are adequately cleaned, serviced and maintained.
While time-served or CNC milling qualifications are preferred, this role would suit someone in a similar engineering discipline. The ability to read and understand complex drawings is essential, along with experience in Fanuc controlled equipment.
Other practical engineering skills would also be advantageous, such as basic manual assembly skills and the ability to complete engineering documentation.
