Job summary

Supreme Recruitment Services Limited is looking for a CNC Setter Operator in Sutton Coldfield on a permanent basis. The role involves setting and operating up to four CNC machines per shift (VMC, Millers), performing tool changes, and reading engineering drawings.

You will work in a team, ensure quality, and help maintain a clean, safe working environment. Rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts, with overtime and a 38-hour week.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Experience with 3-axis CNC - Millers, Turning Centres and VMCs.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Apprentice trained or Level 3 Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate up to 4 CNC machines (VMC and Millers) per shift.
• Carry out tool changes.
• Read engineering drawings and check tooling.
• Preset CNCs for production.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation with quality in mind.

Pay: £16.99-£17.98 per hour

CNC Setter Operator - Permanent Position

Sutton Coldfield (just on the outskirts)

Supreme Recruitment are recruiting for a well-established manufacturer of electrical conductors and connectors.

We are recruiting for a CNC Setter Operator to set various CNC Machinery including VMC's, Millers and Turning Centres.

Your duties may include:

• Setting and operating up to 4 CNC's (VMC and Millers) per shift
• Carrying out tool changes
• working as part of a team - escalating manufacturing issues to the correct team etc.
• Presetting CNC's
• Checking tooling is correct for the part
• Keeping a clean, friendly working environment

Pay: £14.94 per hour plus shift allowance 13.75% - total training rate of £16.99, increasing to £15.81 plus shift allowance 13.75% once fully trained rate of £17.98

Free parking, easily accessible via the motorway

Hours: 6am - 2pm/ 2pm - 10pm rotating

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years' experience setting and operating CNC Milling machines

• Advantageous if you are apprentice trained/ hold a Level 3 Engineering
