Job summary

The Best Connection Recruitment Group, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced CNC Setter for a permanent, full-time role in the Willenhall area. The position offers an early finish on Fridays, with overtime opportunities and a competitive hourly rate.

You will set and operate CNC machines to produce precision components, read engineering drawings, adjust settings and perform first-off and in-process inspections to maintain quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Setter.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Knowledge of measuring equipment and quality procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC machines to produce precision components.
• Loading and changing tooling as required.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Adjusting machine settings to maintain quality standards.
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections.
• Ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00

Friday: 07:30 - 15:45

• 40 hours paid at standard rate
