Job summary

Grainger & Worrall in Bridgnorth seeks a CNC Setter/Programmer for the 14:00 – 22:00 shift. In this role, you will ensure the successful delivery of machined products and contribute to the programming and operation of CNC machines.

CNC Setter / Programmer (14:00 – 22:00)

Location: Bridgnorth (Click Here For Location & Directions)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (14:00 – 22:00)

Salary: Up to £24.63 per hour (approx £48k per annum) dependent on experience.

About the Role

You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our machined products.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Data control, backing up of programs and creation of tooling sheets
• Online CNC program creation
• CNC cutting tool selection
• Assist with fixture design
• Setting and operation of CNC machines for the prove out process of new products and for general production

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a CNC Setter / Programmer with 3‑5 axis horizontal and vertical milling experience, including setting and programming.

It Would Also Be Great If You Have

• Experience with HAAS, MAZAK, MATSUURA or similar controls/machining centres
• Experience working with 3‑5 axis milling machines
• Knowledge of or experience in identifying opportunities for process optimisation without compromising quality or tolerances
• Ability to travel to site
