Job summary

The Best Connection Walsall is recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our client’s Willenhall-based manufacturing operation. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive hourly rate (up to £18.50) with overtime earnings and a good work-life balance including an early finish on Fridays.

Working hours are 07:30–17:00 Monday–Thursday and 07:30–15:45 Friday, with 44 hours per week and overtime payable. Immediate interviews available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Programmer.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC controls and programming techniques.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Editing and optimising CNC programs to maximise efficiency.
• Selecting appropriate tooling and machine settings.
• Conducting quality inspections using measuring equipment.
• Troubleshooting and resolving machining issues.
• Ensuring work is completed to high quality and safety standards.

CNC Programmer to join their well-established manufacturing business in Willenhall.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00

Friday: 07:30 - 15:45

• 40 hours paid at standard rate
