Job summary

Workforce Staffing seeks a skilled CNC Turner or Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator for a Christchurch, Dorset site. The role covers programming, setting and operating CNC Turning or Milling machines and requires experience with Fanuc controls on Doosan equipment.

You will produce precision components to tight drawings, inspect first-off parts, and handle diverse materials such as stainless steel, titanium and plastics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Turner or CNC Miller.
• Strong programming, setting and operating experience.
• Experience with Fanuc.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Good understanding of tooling, cutting conditions and machining processes.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
• Right to work in the UK.

• Work with modern CNC equipment, including 2-5 axis Turning Centres or 3-5 Axis Mills

CNC Turner or Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator

Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Salary: £19–£21 per hour +monthly bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week – Flexitime (between 6am-6pm Mon-Thurs, 6am-3pm Fri)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting for an established precision engineering business with over 50 years' experience, manufacturing high-quality, safety-critical components for demanding sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Nuclear.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Turner or Miller / Programmer Setter Operator to join their skilled team.
