Job summary

Proactive Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator specialising in milling machines for an opportunity based in Willenhall.

You will programme, set and operate CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls, create and edit CNC programmes, change tooling and carry out machine setups, and read engineering drawings to ensure accurate, high-quality production.

This role offers day shifts, a temp-to-perm pathway, and a rate of £19+ per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Self-driven with a proactive approach to quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator.
• Experience working with CNC milling machines.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Ability to programme, set and operate machines independently.
• Experience with tooling changes and machine setups.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

• £19+ per hour, depending on experience.
• Day shifts with start times between 7am and 8am.
• Location in Willenhall, WV13.
• Temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for a permanent position.
