Job summary

Heidenheim Controls in Birmingham is seeking an experienced CNC Miller/Programmer to join a precision engineering team delivering high-quality components across aerospace, automotive and nuclear sectors. You will program CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls, set and operate to tight tolerances, read complex drawings and use CAD/CAM tooling.

Training is available where required. Offering £35,000-£41,000 per annum, paid overtime at 1.5x, an annual profit-related bonus, a company pension

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' CNC programming/setting/operating experience
• Proficiency with Heidenhain controls
• Experience in subcontract machining, aerospace/oil & gas/nuclear preferred

Responsibilities

• Program CNC milling using Heidenhain controls
• Set and operate CNC machines to tight tolerances
• Work with Dugard HSM600, MTE BF 3200, and TOS WHN
• Use CAD/CAM software to define tool paths
• Interpret complex engineering drawings
• Maintain high quality standards
