Job summary

T3AM Global is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering business based in Atherstone, Warwickshire. A CNC Programmer - Miller is required to programme, set and operate CNC milling machines, predominantly using Heidenhain controls, to produce a varied range of precision components.

You will work across one-off and small batch production, setting tooling and inspection, while identifying improvements to tooling and cycle times, all within a supportive team in a busy

Qualifications

• Proven CNC milling experience required.
• Strong experience programming using Heidenhain controls.
• Ability to programme, set and operate CNC milling machinery.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Solid understanding of tooling, tolerances and precision machining.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls.
• Producing precision components from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Working across one-off and small batch machining requirements.
• Setting tooling, workholding and machining parameters.
• Inspecting completed components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Identifying opportunities to improve machining methods, tooling and cycle times.
• Working independently while supporting the wider production and engineering team.
