Job summary

Recruit4staff has partnered with a leading manufacturer to recruit a CNC Programmer for a role based in Halesowen. The position offers an hourly rate of £17–£20, and a 37-hour week from 7am to 4:45pm, Monday to Thursday, with overtime at time and a half.

Free parking is available on-site, with a focus on 3- and 5-axis machining and Fanuc controls. Candidate will develop and write programs, set tools, and work from engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with Fanuc controls and setting offsets.
• Experience machining various materials and working to tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM Fusion 360.
• Set tools and fixtures, adjust offsets on CNC machines.
• Machining prototypes and production batches from engineering drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Online and offline programming and working on 3/5 axis machines.

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a CNC Programmer to work in their leading facility in Halesowen.

For the successful CNC Programmer our client is offering:

• Starting pay rate of £17 - £20 per hour - this depends on the level of experience
• 7am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday - 37 hours per week
• Free Parking
• Overtime opportunities are paid at x1.5 (Time and a half)

The role - CNC Programmer:

• Working on a Large face 5 milling (3+2) machine using Fanuc based Controls
• Using CAD/CAM Fusion 360
• Setting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC machines.
• Develop and write programs for CNC Machines using CAD and Fusion software
• CNC Machining prototypes or production batch work
• Machining of a variety of materials
• Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC machining centres
• Keep work area and C.N.C clean, tidy and safe at all times
• Online & Offline programming
• Working to different tolerances
• Working from engineering drawings
• Perform routine maintenance of machinery/equipment
• Machining own JIGS and fixtures
