Job summary

Job Board Direct is seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter/Operator in Derbyshire for a permanent, full-time role. The position offers an hourly rate of £14–£17, immediate start, and on-site work at our Derbyshire facility close to Derby and the M1.

You will operate and set up Amada press brakes, read drawings, and ensure quality while working within a supportive team in a modern manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting up and operating press brakes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Commitment to quality and timely production.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up press brake machines for folding sheet metal according to specifications.
• Select correct materials and ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Conduct basic machine maintenance and upkeep.
• Work with a friendly, experienced team in a fast-paced environment.
