Job summary

Masstemps are recruiting an experienced CNC Press Brake Operative to join a busy engineering company in Kidderminster. You will set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machines, reading drawings and ensuring components meet tolerances.

The role requires strong measurement skills and experience with Amada/Trumpf machines; you'll work to production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards. Hours are set, with competitive pay rates.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC press brake machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong maths skills for bend calculations.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC press brake machines.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, gauges and protractors to ensure tolerances.
• Select tooling based on material and bend specs.
• Maintain machines and housekeeping to keep equipment safe.
• Follow health and safety procedures and PPE.
