Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a CNC Operator in Rainham, Essex, to join a growing precision engineering manufacturer. You will contribute to the production of precision components in a busy environment, with full training provided for the right candidate.

We welcome experienced CNC Operators and also individuals with general machine operating, manufacturing or engineering backgrounds who want a long-term career in engineering.

Qualifications

CNC Operator Rainham, Essex

Up to £35,000

Rotating Shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am)

A growing precision engineering manufacturer based in Rainham is expanding its production team and is looking to recruit multiple CNC Operators due to significant investment in a new manufacturing line.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Operator, but we are also keen to hear from individuals with machine operating, manufacturing or engineering experience who are looking to develop a long-term career within engineering and production.

With a growing team, ongoing investment, and full training available for the right individuals, this is an exciting time to join the business.

The Role

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the production of precision-engineered components within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating CNC machinery
• Monitoring machine performance and production output
• Carrying out quality checks and measurements
• Performing basic machine adjustments and tool changes
• Ensuring components are manufactured to specification
• Following production and quality procedures
• Supporting continuous improvement activities
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
