Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join the Production team. The role involves safe operation of CNC machinery on structural steel sections, ensuring accuracy and timely production, with tooling checks and documentation using TnT and Strumis systems.

Based in Lanark, the position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with private healthcare and a salary sacrifice pension scheme included as part of the employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery in manufacturing, engineering or structural steel environments.
• Experience working with Structural Steel Sections is essential.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to work independently and meet production targets.
• Health and safety awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery and associated equipment safely and efficiently, including overhead cranes.
• Ensure tooling is correct and fit for purpose before commencing work.
• Process structural steel sections accurately and efficiently, meeting required quality and production targets.
• Complete relevant documentation and record work activity using TnT scanning and Strumis systems.
• Carry out regular accuracy checks and ensure products are correctly marked before passing to the next operation.
• Report any machinery issues to the CNC/Production Manager or Maintenance Department.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and written work instructions.
• Ensure materials are available to the Fabrication Department when required.
