Job summary

ESS Employment Ltd is seeking a CNC Operator for a Double Day Shift in Stroud. You will run CNC machines, perform health checks, and ensure quality and safety in a busy production cell. The role involves mentoring, problem-solving, and collaboration with engineers to meet delivery dates.

The position is permanent with full-time hours on a double day pattern. Immediate start and a shift allowance may apply according to experience.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic CNC programming and machine competence.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more CNC machines in the cell.
• Perform daily machine health checks.
• Maintain traveler bookings and documents in the cell.
• Stamp own work and report NCRs.
• Assist with other duties as required by the Production Team Leader.
