Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd is recruiting a CNC Operator to join the production team in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. You will operate CNC machinery, read engineering drawings and help ensure components are produced accurately and efficiently to target outputs.

The role runs on a double-day shift (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm), 37.5 hours a week, with a salary of £33,000–£34,000 plus a shift allowance and benefits including a pension, private medical care and bonus potential.

• Experience operating CNC machinery and reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within the machine shop.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to meet specs.
• Monitor quality and minimise scrap and non-conforming parts.
• Carry out daily machine health checks and report issues.
• Complete production paperwork and records accurately.
• Identify and report quality issues through non-conformance procedures.
