Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd on behalf of a well-established subcontract engineering company in Maldon is seeking a CNC Operator to work nights, operating Hurco milling machines. The role requires precision work and there is training available for the right candidate.

Working hours are 16:30–04:30, 48 hours per week, with onsite parking and a contributory pension. 16 days holiday plus bank holidays are provided along with PPE and workwear.

Qualifications

• CNC milling experience preferred.
• Hurco or Fanuc skills preferable.
• Apprentice trained or time served with some training possible.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hurco milling machines on night shift.
• Inspect own work and maintain tight tolerances to 20 microns.
• Work within the night shift team in the milling section.

CNC Operator

Maldon

Salary up to £45,000 including shift

My client is a well-established, growing subcontract engineering company who do a variety work mostly one off’s and small batch for different industry sectors including Motorsport, Defence and Pharmaceutical industries. They are now looking for a CNC Operator to work nights and operate Hurco Mills. The ideal candidate will be time served however some training can be provided.

Duties:

• Work within the night shift team in the milling section operating Hurco milling machines
• Work to very fine tolerances down to 20 microns
• Inspection of own work.

Experience:

• CNC Milling experience preferable.
• Previous operating experience would be ideal.
• Hurco or Fanuc skills preferable
• Ideally apprentice trained however some training can be given.

Benefits:

• Salary circa £18.00ph
• Monday – Thursday 16.30 – 04.30 (Total 48 hours per week over 4 nights)
