Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a client in the engineering and manufacturing sector.

The role focuses on milling precision components using careful technique and professional know-how. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years operating CNC mills (Hurco experience advantageous), strong manual milling skills, and a proven ability to read drawings with high numeracy and problem-solving capability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience operating CNC mills.
• Hurco experience advantageous.
• Proficiency in manual milling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently.
• Experience with CNC or manual lathes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills with precision and care.
• Operate manual mills as required.
• Use inspection and measurement equipment to verify components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Apply strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.

Job description

Our client is a specialist engineering and manufacturing business supplying precision components to various industries.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Milling Machinist. The successful candidate will focus on milling precision components, using greatest care and professional knowhow.

Package:

• £18-£20.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
• 1.5x for overtime
• 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure

CNC Machinist - Responsibilities:
