Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is seeking CNC specialists for a global manufacturing leader based in Ely. You will load and run multi-pallet, 5-axis mills to produce precision components and support the machine shop while assisting CNC Programmers with first-off production and prototypes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years experience, apprenticeship training or equivalent, and knowledge of Fanuc vertical/5-axis mills. Onsite role with comprehensive site facilities and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Fanuc based vertical mills / 5-axis mills.
• Micro-level loading, operation experience, with basic understanding of engineering drawings.
• Apprenticeship trained or similar.

Responsibilities

• Load and run multi-pallet, 5-axis milling machines to produce precision in-house machined components.
• Support the wider machine shop operation and assist CNC Programmers to prove out first-off production and prototype components.

Shift: Mon-Thurs (6am-2:30pm – Friday (6am-1pm)

We’re on the lookout for specialists within CNC to join a global manufacturing leader with state of the art facilities, based in Ely. you’ll be working out of a multistorey site, with an onsite canteen, entertainment spaces and direct train routes, assembling and packaging products which are considered the gold standards in their industry.

You’ll load and run multi-pallet, 5-axos milling machines to produce precision in-house machined components for production, supporting the wider machine shop operation and assisting the CNC Programmers to prove out and produce first-off production and prototype components.

What are we looking for?

• Working knowledge of fanuc based vertical mills / 5-axis mills
• Micro-level prevision, machine loading and operation experience, with basic understanding of engineering drawings
• Qualifications: Apprenticeship trained or similar
• Experience: 3 years +
• 5-Axis mills and wire EDM - nice to have
