Job summary

Sammons Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Router Operative in the St Leonards-on-Sea area for a temporary-to-permanent role. You will operate CNC routing machinery, read drawings, load materials and ensure quality while keeping production on schedule.

The role requires attention to detail, basic maintenance know-how and the ability to work in a team across rotating shifts. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• CNC router experience required.
• Background in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read technical drawings and CAD files.
• Experience using Vernier calipers or similar measuring tools.
• Good attention to detail and quality control.
• Basic maintenance and fault-finding knowledge is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are important.
• Composite materials experience and FLT licence would be advantageous.

Location: St Leonards-on-Sea

Salary: £14.25 per hour, rising to £15.00 after probation

Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

Contract: Temp-to-perm, full-time
