Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery, with the ability to fabricate and assemble components with precision. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall quality of our products.

Duties

• Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.
• Fabricate parts using various materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Assemble and weld components as required, following detailed engineering drawings.
• Utilise hand tools and tooling effectively for machining tasks.
• Perform materials handling duties, including loading and unloading materials from machines.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC expereince is a must.
• Strong understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with various hand tools and machinery used in fabrication processes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
