Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: From £26,000 - £32,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience

Location: Redhill RH1

Schedule: 40 hours per week, 10:30am - 21:00pm, Monday to Thursday

About The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager and Senior Team Leader, the CNC Machine Operator operates CNC machines, upholds quality and safety standards, keeps records as appropriate, whilst maintaining equipment and supplies.

No Previous Machining Experience Required. All training is developed in-house, with potential to move into a CNC setting / programming role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and operating CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, etc.
• Loading raw materials and parts into machines.
• Ensuring all parts conform to specifications and quality standards.
• Warming up machines daily, maintaining cleanliness, and inspecting equipment.
• Performing standard CNC operator tasks like deburring, tapping, washing, and cleaning parts.
• Adhering to company guidelines and safety procedures.
• Meeting production schedules and maintaining shift communication.
• Ensuring machines are well-stocked and maintained.
• Completing paperwork and updating production systems.
• Following procedures to achieve targets and uphold quality standards.
• Maintaining a safe workplace and demonstrating teamwork.
• Performing additional duties as required by management.
