We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team working for a better future.

The preferred location for this position is Havant, UK.

What you will be doing

• Drive improvements as part of our continuous improvement culture
• Work safely in accordance with the company's Health and Safety policy
• Maintain a clean and organized working area following 5S principles
• Ensure quality standards are met and follow processes accordingly
• Complete tasks within set process times to meet deadlines
• Remain flexible and willing to move onto other disciplines within your skill set when needed
• Assist with skills flex training and cross-training of others

Qualifications and experience

• GCSE/O Level or equivalent
• Apprentice trained
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience within manufacturing, including CNC machining
• Experience with milling and turning preferred
• Lean CI experience (e.g., 8 wastes), safety, and 5S work ethic
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience in an engineering environment
• Previous experience setting/operating Mazak machines
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CNC code (ISO/G code, Mazatrol)
• Offline programming experience with Edgecam, Mastercam, or Mazatrol is advantageous
• Understanding of turning and milling techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Hands-on approach and a strong work ethic
