Actio Recruitment is assisting a Bolton-based employer in recruiting an experienced CNC Milling Machine Setter/Operator. The role involves setting and operating Bridgeport milling machines and 5-axis CNC centres to manufacture high-precision components in a 37.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Machine Setter / Operator (Milling).
• Experience setting and operating Bridgeport milling machines.
• Experience operating 5-axis CNC machining centres.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A reliable and proactive approach with the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate Bridgeport CNC milling machines.
• Set and operate 5-axis CNC machining centres.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Produce precision components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out in-process quality inspections using measuring equipment.
• Ensure machines are running safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet production schedules and quality standards.
