Workforce Staffing Ltd is recruiting for a CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator in Esher, Surrey. The role involves programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components from engineering drawings, with first-off inspection and in-process checks. 3-4 axis experience is essential; 5-axis is advantageous.

Immediate starts are available. Salary is £20–£24 per hour, with a 39-hour week, permanent full-time contract, and benefits including pension,

Qualifications

• Proven CNC milling experience.
• Strong programming, setting and operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of tooling, cutting conditions and machining processes.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Aerospace/Defence experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.
• Set tooling, work-holding and offsets.
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspection.
• Troubleshoot machining and make necessary programme/offset adjustments.
• Experience with 3- and 4-axis milling is essential; 5-axis experience advantageous.
