Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Miller for Programmer, Setter and Operator duties in Esher, Surrey. The role involves programming and operating CNC milling machines, reading engineering drawings, and producing components to tight tolerances.

You will set tooling and offsets, perform first-off and in-process inspection, and troubleshoot to optimise processes. Experience with 3- and 4-axis milling is essential; 5-axis is highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC milling experience.
• Strong programming, setting and operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of tooling, cutting conditions and machining processes.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Aerospace/Defence experience would be advantageous.
• CNC/CAM programming experience would be beneficial.

CNC Miller - Programmer / Setter / Operator

Location: Esher, Surrey
Salary: £20-£24 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 39 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting for an established and growing precision engineering business supplying components into demanding industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Oil & Gas.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer Setter Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

• Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines.
