Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Setter Operator to join a Nailsea-based manufacturing team. The role involves setting and operating CNC milling machinery with FANUC controls and producing precision components to drawings.

Experience with FANUC is required, with CAM experience (Fusion 360 or similar) advantageous but not essential. Strong setting and operating skills are highly valued, with opportunities to develop programming knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of CNC tooling, offsets and fixtures.
• FANUC control experience is essential

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines using FANUC controls.
• Complete machine setups for production runs and read drawings.
• Load and verify CNC programs; adjust offsets and tools as needed.
• Carry out first-off inspections and ensure parts meet tolerances.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
