Workforce Staffing Ltd in Abingdon is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter to join a major supplier to high-tech UK sectors. You will set up and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines, with a focus on accuracy and throughput in a 5's manufacturing environment.
The role requires experience with multi-axis CNC machining and reading complex drawings, plus an understanding of inspection using CMM tools. Training and progression opportunities are available.
Formación
- Experience with Fanuc controls or similar.
- Thorough experience of multi axis CNC machining.
- Ability to read and interpret component drawings and instructions.
- Experience using inspection tools and performing 100% inspection is desirable.
- Programming experience is advantageous.
Responsabilidades
- CNC machining, and setting.
- Operate 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines.
- Perform CMM inspection and produce inspection reports as required.
- Use initiative to improve quality and throughput.
- Work to scheduled production lists and comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
