Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking a skilled multi-axis CNC Machinist to join a rapidly expanding precision engineering company in South Oxfordshire. You will set and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis milling machines, working to tight tolerances and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

The role requires programming with EDGECAM/FANUC and may involve quality inspection using CMM equipment. An engineering apprenticeship or NVQ/City & Guilds is desirable but not essential; exposure to Nuclear, Space Technologies, Medical, F1 and

Qualifications

• Experience with 3, 4 & 5 axis milling and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• CNC programming using EDGECAM and FANUC.
• Quality inspection experience, including CMM, is a strong plus.
• Engineering apprenticeship or NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential.
• Experience with various materials and tight tolerances; initiative is important.

CNC Miller-Setter

A skilled multi-axis CNC machinist is required for a rapidly expanding precision engineering company in South Oxfordshire.

You will be setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis milling machines, working to tight tolerances and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

The customer base is broad and well established, including Nuclear, Space Technologies, Medical, F1 and many other demanding industries.

Job Requirements

• A wide range of candidates will be considered, ranging from Setters and Operators through to experienced CNC Machinists and Programmers.
• Good communication skills are key and the willingness to learn and develop.
• CNC programming (EDGECAM/FANUC
• Quality inspection experience (including CMM) is a strong plus. )
• An engineering apprenticeship or NVQ/City & Guilds are desirable but not essential.
• Experience with working with a variety of materials, working to tight tolerances, along with the ability to use your own initiative, is also important

• Standard 37-hour week - early finish on Fridays
• Overtime and weekend work is available and paid at a premium rate.
