Actio Recruitment is assisting a precision engineering manufacturer in Rugby to recruit an experienced CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator. You will program, set and operate modern 5-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls to produce high-precision components.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, selecting tooling, and performing self-inspection while maintaining strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator.
• Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls.
• Experience programming and machining on 5-axis milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Confident working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Apprentice trained or time-served machinist preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business producing high-precision components. The successful candidate will be working on modern 5-axis CNC milling machines, programming, setting and operating using Heidenhain controls.

The Role

• Programming, setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances
