Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller for a days-based role in Rugby, Warwickshire. You will be programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, using Heidenhain controls to produce high-precision components in a close-knit workshop.

The role offers a stable, Monday-Thursday 7:30-16:45, Friday 7:30-12:30 schedule with overtime at 1.3x and a generous benefits package including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years milling experience.
• Experience programming with Heidenhain controls.
• Able to set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Willing to work in a days-based role in Rugby.

Are you a CNC Miller with experience programming using Heidenhain controls, looking for a stable, days-based role with overtime available and an early finish on a Friday?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering business with a close-knit team of 18 employees, offering long-term security and a workshop-based position.
The company is continuing to grow and, due to sustained demand, they are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to support production. You'll be working in a modern workshop environment, producing high-quality components and taking ownership of programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
This role would suit a motivated CNC Miller who enjoys hands-on machining work and wants consistent hours, a strong work-life balance, and optional overtime.

The Role:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Heidenhain controls (programming experience required)
• Workshop based in Rugby
• Dayshift: Mon-Thurs 7:30-16:45, Fri 7:30-12:30 (40 hours/week)
• Overtime available at 1.3x

The Person:

• Experienced CNC Miller (minimum 5 years' milling experience essential)
• Confident programming using Heidenhain controls
• Skilled in milling processes and producing components to tight tolerances
• Motivated, reliable and enjoys CNC milling
• Comfortable working in a workshop-based role
