Qualifications

• Previous experience with Heidenhain controls or Hurco preferred.
• Experience with Visi machining for off-board programming is useful but not essential.
• Background in automotive tooling would be beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• CNC machine bespoke parts for press tool assemblies.
• Manage cutters and stock levels within the department.
• Maximize machine cutting time through effective planning.
• Collaborate with toolmakers to ensure components fit into overall assembly.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of machines and work area.

Skills

Experience with Heidenhain controls

Experience with Hurco

Knowledge of Visi machining

Understanding of engineering drawings

Ability to plan jobs effectively
