Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting for a CNC Miller in Keynsham. You will work on CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls, reading engineering drawings and producing one-offs and small batches. The role offers a permanent contract, a 37-hour week, and core hours 7.30–15.30 with flexi time and the possibility of early finish on Fridays.

Salary is £34,362 per annum or £17.86 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x. Benefits include 33 days holiday and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or proven track record in CNC milling/manufacturing.
• Able to read engineering drawings and set up/edit programs.
• Experience with Heidenhain programming; other controls welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and machine parts to drawing tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and select appropriate materials.
• Set up, edit and download programs, and inspect components for quality.
