Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Rotherham for an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, apprentice-trained machinist looking for a stable, long-term role within a busy jobbing shop environment, manufacturing high-quality components from one-offs through to small batch production.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with CNC milling experience.
• Experience operating and setting CNC milling machines.
• Experience with Heidenhain controls.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Capable of producing one-off and small batch components.
• Able to work to tight tolerances with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Setting and operating cnc milling machines
• Programming and editing using Heidenhain
• Manufacturing a wide variety of precision-engineered components
• Working from engineering drawings to produce parts to tight tolerances
• Producing predominantly one-off and small batch work
• Carrying out self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met
• Working independently with minimal supervision
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
