Job summary

Omega Resource Group seeks a CNC Setter Operator (Milling) in Derby to join a leading aerospace engineering team. The role focuses on setting and operating milling machines to produce precision components for advanced aircraft systems, with a weekday night shift (Mon-Thurs, 6.00pm-6.00am) and strict adherence to tolerances.

You will interpret engineering drawings, self-inspect work, and maintain equipment while contributing to process improvements in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship OR significant experience.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings.
• Able to self-inspect work using various inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiency.
• Competently set and operate CNC machines.
• Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard.
• To work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process.
• Quality check all finished jobs.
• Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area.

The Role - CNC Setter Operator

Join our leading aerospace engineering client's team in Derby and contribute to cutting-edge precision machined component development.

As a CNC Machinist (Milling), you'll play a key role in machining complex components for advanced aircraft systems, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Due to Security restrictions, all candidates must currently hold British citizenship.

Duties - CNC Setter Operator
