A global aerospace precision manufacturer is looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join their expanding team in Derby. In this permanent role, you will set and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.

The ideal candidate will have experience in machining high-precision metal components and be able to work autonomously. The position offers benefits such as 28 days holiday, pension, and training opportunities.

The role involves setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.

Monday – Thursday 6am – 14:30pm, Friday 6am – 10:30am

Job Description

• Set and Operate CNC Milling Machines.
• Read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
• Set up machines with he required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve required output levels.
• Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in machining high precision metal components for a highly regulated industry.
• Ability to work autonomously, with a positive attitude.
