Job summary

Complete Talent Services Ltd is recruiting a CNC Miller for a permanent position near Blackburn. The ideal candidate will set up, program, and operate CNC mills using Fanuc controls, ensuring parts are machined to tight tolerances from supplied drawings.

You will work across materials including stainless steel, aluminium and titanium, edit programs to improve efficiency, evaluate tooling solutions, and perform in-process inspection with hand tools and CMM, while maintaining machines and adhering

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC milling machines to tight tolerances.
• Program parts using Fanuc controls and CAM software.
• Edit past programs to improve efficiency and lead times.
• Evaluate new tooling and run multiple machines with different materials.
• Perform in-process inspection with hand tools and CMM.
• Daily maintenance of machines including coolant conditioning and safety compliance.

Job description

Due to an increase in work load and continued company growth we are recruiting a CNC Miller to join our client on a permanent basis near Blackburn.

Successful candidates will ideally be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specification.

Candidates will be required to programme, set and operate CNC Millers utilising Fanuc controls therefore experience with this is a must.

Hours - Monday - Friday

• 06:00 - 14:15 Monday to Thursday/ 0600 - 1200 Friday
• 13:45 - 22:00 Monday to Thursday / 12:00 - 18:00 Friday

The Ideal candidates will have :

• Setting and operating CNC millers using new and proven programs and tooling.
• Fanuc based machine experience
• Programming new parts using CAM software and conventional code
• Manual editing of past programs to improve efficiency and lead times.
• Evaluating new tooling solutions.
• Running multiple machines and working with multiple materials.
• Performing in process inspection using hand measuring equipment and CMM.
• Maintaining the machine on a daily basis including coolant conditioning to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
