Job Opportunity: CNC Miller

Due to a significant increase in workload, we are recruiting a CNC Miller to join our prestigious client based north of York on a permanent basis.

Candidate Requirements

1. Ideally time-served, with proven experience in manufacturing jobs according to technical drawings and specifications. However, demonstrable work experience will also be considered.
2. Ability to work on multi-axis (3, 4, 5 axis) Mazak CNC Mills using Mazatrol controls.
3. Experience working with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Bronze, and occasionally other exotic materials.
4. Ability to program, set, and operate CNC Mills.
5. Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
6. Overhead crane operating experience is desirable.

Additional Details

Overtime is available from Monday to Saturday at 1.5x pay, and on Sundays at 2.0x pay.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience in a machine shop environment machining both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances.
2. Proficiency with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
3. Experience working with a range of materials including Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and Brass.
