Job summary

Actio Recruitment is seeking a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter and Operator for a precision engineering company in Christchurch. The role is permanent with a day shift.

You will program and run CNC milling machines, select tooling and cutting parameters, read engineering drawings and perform first-off inspections to ensure tight tolerances and quality. DOE applies to the salary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as CNC Miller Programmer, Setter and Operator.
• Ability to programme directly at the machine.
• Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Haas or similar controls advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of precision machining techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Competent using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges.

CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator

Location: Christchurch

Salary: £19.00 - £22.00 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Day Shift

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

The Role

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances
