Job description

Are you a budding CNC Miller looking for another role? Or out of work, and seeking a long-term position in precision engineering? If yes, this role could be ideal for you! The position offers £14.70 per hour, based in Havant, with a Double Day shift pattern.

We are seeking CNC Machinists to join a reputable company in Havant. Your responsibilities will include setting and operating CNC Mills as part of a dynamic team to complete production. The company specializes in high-grade metals and precision projects. Knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain programmes, along with the ability to perform setting tasks such as troubleshooting, small edits, and changing heads, is essential. Formal qualifications are not required.

This role involves:

1. Setting and operating CNC Mills
2. Machining parts from aluminium and steel
3. Changing tooling heads and blades
4. Making minor adjustments and edits
5. Performing basic mechanical inspections
6. Ensuring machines operate smoothly
7. Collaborating with the team to prevent production bottlenecks
8. Streamlining procedures through team liaison
9. Transporting parts to and from machines
