Job description

Experienced Diesel Fitters required ASAP for our client's project close to Glenden. Permanent positions on offer only! Top-Notch Salary packages.

Myndshift Group has been engaged to recruit 30 X Diesel Fitters for our client's newly awarded contract extension at their mining project near Glenden. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance on a large fleet of HME including:

• Hitachi EH5000 & CAT 794 Electric Trucks
• 16M & 24M graders

Additional Equipment:

• Liebherr 9800, 9400, 9350, Hitachi EX3600 Excavators
• D10 & D11 Dozers

About You:

• Relevant diesel fitter / heavy vehicle trade qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Proven experience with large heavy mining equipment as listed above
• High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
• Safety focus with high attention to detail
• Excellent work planning and scheduling skills
• Current and valid driver’s license

Role Details:

• 7/7 DS/NS Roster - 12.5hr shifts
• Annualised fortnightly pay
• Maximum earnings of $183,774 per annum
• Full-time permanent position
• Camp accommodation supplied
• Company-provided bus transport to and from Mackay & Townsville
