Job summary

JobsTrackR in Coventry is seeking an experienced CNC Miller setter/operator to join the production team. You will set and operate CNC milling machines and produce components to technical drawings, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role involves working with Haas, Puma, and Mazak machines, performing tool changes and inspections to meet strict specifications in a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC Machining is required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and route cards.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machinery.
• Carry out tool, insert and offset changes.
• Complete first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Work from technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.

Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour
Shift: Shift-based (Days & Afters)

An established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its production team with experienced CNC Miller setter/operators.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident setting and operating CNC millingmachinery and enjoys working in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.

The role

You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC millingmachines, producing components to technical drawings and route cards while maintaining the required quality and production standards.

The role will involve working with machines including Haas, Puma, and Mazak, with responsibilities including:

• Setting and operating CNC Milling machinery
• Carrying out tool, insert and offset changes
• Completing first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
• Working from technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification
• Completing production paperwork and maintaining accurate shop-floor records
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and quality
