Job summary

A1 Personnel is seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to manufacture high-precision aerospace components. You will set up and run 3 and 5 axis milling machines, inspect parts, and maintain tooling in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading complex drawings, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Overtime opportunities are available within a supportive, high-performance manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC Setter/Operator with aerospace background and certificates.
• Experience with 3 & 5 Axis milling machines.
• Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce aerospace components from technical drawings using CNC machines.
• Set, operate and maintain CNC milling machines to tight tolerances.
• Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment.
• Take ownership to ensure components meet standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in manufacturing, quality, safety, sustainability and energy efficiency.
• Maintain equipment, tooling and a clean, safe working environment.
• Work to ISO 50001/14001/45001/9001 standards.
