Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a CNC Mill/Turn operator for a permanent role in Poole. You will set and operate CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce precision components per customer drawings, using FAUNC controls to manage tooling, offsets and machining parameters.

Responsibilities include in-process inspection, maintaining high accuracy and quality, and keeping the workspace compliant with 5S standards. Night and day shifts available; 39 hours per week with shift allowance for night work.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience as a fully skilled CNC setter/operator.
• Experience with FAUNC controls.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce precision components per drawings.
• Use FAUNC control systems to manage tooling, offsets and machining parameters.
• Inspect own work in-process to ensure drawing and SPC compliance.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality.
• Keep work area clean and compliant with 5S standards.
