Job summary

Precision People seeks a skilled CNC Milling Matsuura Programmer/Setter in Birmingham. You will set, program, and operate Matsuura mills, reading engineering drawings and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances. The role includes offline programming using Fusion 360/OneCNC and routine machine maintenance.

Working a day shift pattern in Birmingham, you will join a precision engineering team with clean, compliant manufacturing practices and a strong emphasis on quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC Matsuura Mills.
• Offline programming on Matsuura Mills is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working to tight tolerances in precision engineering.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNCMatsuura Milling machines.
• Offline programming using Fusion 360 and OneCNC.
• Adjust offsets and modify programs from drawings.
• Quality check of components.
• Maintain machinery and perform routine greasing.

Are you a skilled CNC Miller with Programming or Setting experience on Matsuura machines? If yes, read on....

My client is an established precision engineering manufacturer based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth.

They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Milling Matsuura Programmer or Setter to join their team.

The Role: CNC Matsuura Miller

• Set and operate CNCMatsuura Milling machines
• Offline Programming (is experienced) using Fusion 360 and OneCNC
• Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs
• Working from drawings
• Quality control of components
• Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc
• Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
• Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements

Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Milling Programmer / Setter

• Experience in Setting and Operating CNC Matsuura Mills
• Offline Programming on Matsuura Mills is desirable but not essential
• Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances
• Experience in the Aerospace industry is desirable
• Experience working from engineering drawings
• Able to quality check own parts
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
• Motivated and excellent team player

The Package: CNC Matsuura Milling Machinist

• Starting rate up to £19 per hour, dependent on experience
• Day Shifts, Mon - Thurs, 08:00-17:00 Friday - 08:00-13:00
