Job summary

Moog is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team in Tewkesbury on a 2-weekly rotating AM/PM shift pattern, with shift allowance added to basic pay.

In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of CNC, mechanical, and electrical machine tools that support our advanced aerospace manufacturing and test operations. Training is provided on our specific machine models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on experience in hydraulic, mechanical, mechatronic, or CNC machine maintenance roles.
• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing CNC machine tools and controls.
• Understanding of electronic circuits, CNC systems, and fault-finding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Delivering preventative maintenance and repair support for CNC machine tools and related equipment.
• Providing backup support for test systems.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control faults on CNC machinery.
• Ensuring all repairs meet internal and external audit standards, leaving equipment calibrated and production-ready.
• Maintaining parts procurement and inventory for timely, cost-effective maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate risk assessments and adhering strictly to health and safety protocols.
• Participating in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting a site with over 150 test systems, managing up to 10 concurrent support activities.
