Job summary

Moog in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Machine Tool Technician to join our maintenance team in Tewkesbury. You will perform preventative maintenance and repair on CNC machine tools, ensuring systems are safe, reliable, and production-ready.

You will work on a rotating two-week AM/PM shift schedule and collaborate with a high-performance team that values precision and teamwork while following strict quality standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • A vocational qualification in engineering is required.
  • 5+ years of hydraulic, mechanical, mechatronic and CNC maintenance experience.
  • Proven fault diagnosis on Mazak/Star/Okuma or equivalent CNC tools.
  • Familiarity with circuits, CNC controls and diagnostics; robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver preventative maintenance and repair support for machine tools and related systems.
  • Ensure repairs meet quality audits and calibration standards for production readiness.
  • Manage parts procurement and inventory to support timely maintenance.
  • Maintain risk assessments and enforce health and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives across work areas.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of mechanical and electrical machine tools that support our advanced manufacturing and test operations.
